Founded in 2000, ABM offers an in-depth working knowledge of financial and operational business systems. Our unique combination of business, database, and software expertise enables us to translate complex business problems into practical system solutions. We provide insightful data research, analysis, and validation on a variety of systems and database platforms. With a focus on process automation, we develop data driven web and desktop applications that are customized for, and integrated with, client business operations.

ABM develops solutions using Microsoft technologies including Azure, Power BI, ASP.NET, Javascript, C#, VB, SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Microsoft Office. We also have extensive experience using other relational database systems including Teradata and Oracle. We are proficient in sourcing data from a variety of third party systems and spreadsheets.

David Kennedy has over thirty years experience serving financial service companies with a focus on banking and commercial real estate. David began his career in public accounting working for both KPMG and Kenneth Levanthal & Co (now Ernst & Young) as a management consultant and auditor. He also held a Controller position with a major Bay Area real estate firm and played an integral role in their 1997 initial public offering. In 2000 David formed Applied Business Metrics, LLC to focus on business automation solutions for financial services companies. David holds an MBA degree from the University of California, Berkeley (Haas) and a BA degree in Economics and Business from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is an inactive Certified Public Accountant.
